Erin Anguino, M.A. L.M.F.T.
Erin is an enthusiastic and charismatic part of the Teen Therapy Center staff. With a genuinely warm and welcoming personality, she supportively encourages self-reflection and growth in her clients. Erin's ability to seek and provide inspiration brings about a positive outlook for change and courage in navigating life transitions and difficult times.
Erin moved to California on her own as a young adult. Consequently, she has become a positive role model for teens and young adults striving to establish independence and develop a stronger sense of self. Erin’s experience and training in working with trauma empowers her to help clients recognize how one’s past may impact the present. With further processing, clients can find peace and healing through increased self-awareness and effective coping skills. Erin also has a professional background in play therapy and may incorporate expressive techniques in session.
In addition to working at Teen Therapy Center, Erin is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. She has worked as a personal trainer and is an accomplished runner who strongly believes in the powerful connection between our mind and body. Past experience as a competitive gymnast gives Erin an enhanced understanding of the pressures and high expectations many individuals face in today's society. Exercise continues to be an incredibly important component of her own wellness routine, and she remains attuned with those struggling with body image, health issues, perfectionism, and low self-esteem.
Erin is passionate about creating a collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients can feel safe to be vulnerable and discover a sense of purpose and happiness in their lives.
