Belle Barrett is an honorary Doctor of Psychology and an emotional service animal. Belle’s mom, Cathy, rescued her from East Valley Animal Shelter when she was six months old. Belle is a miniature Italian Greyhound mixed with Toy Fox Terrier. Therefore, she is cuddly, affectionate, and quirky in the most endearing way. Belle’s shelter life and short period as a stray has given her the life experience to know the importance of love and acceptance as well as having a loving and stable home. She helps her mom ease the anxiety of her clients by sitting on their laps, making them laugh, and warming up the office. Belle’s hobbies include: long walks on the beach (or neighborhood), napping, sunbathing, playing with her friends, and being with her mom. Although mom is a vegan, Belle loves her chicken as well as her Whimzee treats. Her favorite snack by far, is when mom uses the air popper and makes popcorn.
She will likely bark at new clients in the waiting room. It’s her way of protecting her pack, but also her way of saying hello. You can always ask Cathy, her mom, if you want to be introduced.
Fun Fact about Belle: She was named after Snoopy’s sister in the old Peanut Comics…
